
Corinne has been training at the Kingsbridge club since its beginning in 1998, and is one of our highest ranking black belts at 4th Degree.
Corinne is one of South Hams Martial Art's most experienced Instructors and can be seen teaching at any of the classes, as well as regularly at Kingsbridge. She has taught many students who have gone on to receive or win awards at competitions and gradings.
Corinne, herself has won many medals over her time with us, Nationally and Internationally, being twice World Champion. Some of her highest accolades are as follows:-
In 2007, Corinne was seeded No1 to represent TEAM UK at the World Championships in Birmingham. But in the end represented her home nationality, France. She came home with a Silver medal in Ladies 2nd Degree Sparring and a Gold in 2nd Degree Ladies Patterns.
In 2010, Corinne was able to represent Team UK at the ITF World Championships in Korea and came back again as World Champion in 2nd Degree Patterns and a Bronze Medallist for Sparring.
In October 2014 she won the UKITF British Championships in 3rd Degree Patterns and gained a Silver medal in Sparring.
In May 2015 became UK No. 1 Champion and gained her 4th Degree Black Belt.
In July 2016, Corinne represented Great Britain at the World Championships in Brighton and came back as World Champion in Sparring.
